Admission Deadlines

Applications will continue to be reviewed each month after the priority deadline listed below, based on space availability. Notification of acceptance will be sent via E-mail approximately 4-6 weeks after application submission.

To Apply

  1. Verify Eligibility
    You must verify that you meet all admission eligibility criteria BEFORE proceeding. If you do not meet all of the admission criteria, your application will not be accepted.
  2. Complete Application
    Once eligibility has been verified, complete the online Professional Teacher Preparation Program Application.
  3. Submit Transcripts
    If you have taken classes at another institution, official transcripts for completed coursework must be sent to ASU's Office of Undergraduate Admissions.Unofficial transcripts for courses that are currently in progress must be submitted to the CTEL advising office on your campus. Students working within a district-based Professional Development School should submit unofficial transcripts for courses that are currently in progress to the West campus.
  4. Fingerprint Clearance
    Apply for an Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card if you have not already done so. Proof of fingerprint clearance must be on file in the Office of Professional Field Experience before field placement hours begin. For students beginning the program in the fall, the deadline is August 15 (July 15 for PDS programs). For students beginning the program in the spring, the deadline is January 15 (December 15 for PDS programs).
