Bilingual Education Endorsement K-12 English as a Second Language (Full) Structured English Immersion	The Diversity in Language and Learning - Bilingual program prepares individuals to teach in a bilingual or English as a Second Language elementary school environment. Applicants are required to demonstrate Spanish proficiency at Intermediate Spanish II level prior to Block 3.
Diversity in Language and Learning - ESL	B.A.E.	English as a Second Language (Full) Structured English Immersion	The Diversity in Language and Learning - ESL program prepares individuals to teach in an English as a Second Language elementary school environment. Applicants should possess a desire to work with children who are acquiring English skills.
Diversity in Language and Learning - Madison PDS	B.A.E.	Bilingual Education Endorsement K-12 English as a Second Language (Full)	Clinical experiences and student teaching for the Madison Professional Development School (PDS) program occur entirely at the Madison Elementary School District. The Madison PDS program is a full-time, 12-month, day program that requires summer coursework and field experience.
Diversity in Language and Learning - Roosevelt PDS	B.A.E.	Bilingual Education Endorsement K-12 English as a Second Language (Full) Structured English Immersion	Clinical experiences and student teaching for the Roosevelt Professional Development School (PDS) program occur entirely at the Roosevelt Elementary School District. The Roosevelt PDS program is a full-time, 24-month, evening program that requires summer field experience.
Diversity in Language and Learning - Rural PDS	B.A.E.	Bilingual Education Endorsement K-12 English as a Second Language (Full) Structured English Immersion	Clinical experiences and student teaching for the rural Professional Development School (PDS) programs occur entirely at partner district sites. The rural PDS programs are full-time, 24-month, evening programs that require summer teaching experiences.
Diversity in Language and Learning - Urban PDS	B.A.E.	Bilingual Education Endorsement K-12 English as a Second Language (Full) Structured English Immersion	Clinical experiences and student teaching for the urban Professional Development School (PDS) programs occur entirely at partner district sites. The urban PDS programs are full-time, 18-month, daytime programs that require summer teaching experiences.
Elementary Education	B.A.E.	English as a Second Language (Provisional) Structured English Immersion	The Elementary Education program prepares students to design and implement instructional programs for children in grades 1-8. The program leads to eligibility for teaching certification within the state of Arizona.
Elementary Education - Initial Teacher Certification	M.Ed.	Structured English Immersion	The accelerated Elementary Education Master's with Arizona Certification (MAC) programs lead to certification in grades 1-8. Programs are offered in the Deer Valley school district and at the Tempe campus. Another Elementary Education program is offered in Osborn school district.
Elementary Education - Initial Teacher Certification (Osborn)	M.Ed.	Structured English Immersion	The accelerated Elementary Education Master's with Arizona Certification (MAC) programs lead to certification in grades 1-8. This program is offered in the Osborn school district. Additional Elementary Education programs are available in the Deer Valley school district and at the Tempe campus.
Elementary Education - InMAC	M.Ed.	Structured English Immersion	The Elementary Education Induction, Master's with Arizona Certification (InMAC) program is designed for students who are working full-time within an Arizona elementary school while completing coursework.
Secondary Education - Fine Arts	B.F.A. B.M.	Art Dance Music	Fine Arts programs in Secondary Education prepare students to teach art, dance, or music in grades 7-12. In addition to education methods courses, students complete coursework offered through the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. These programs equip students with the in-depth knowledge and teaching strategies necessary to serve the educational needs and challenges of students at the secondary level.
Secondary Education - Fine Arts	B.F.A. B.M.	Art Dance Music	Fine Arts programs in Secondary Education prepare students to teach art, dance, or music in grades 7-12. In addition to education methods courses, students complete coursework offered through the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. These programs equip students with the in-depth knowledge and teaching strategies necessary to serve the educational needs and challenges of students at the secondary level.
Special Education with Dual Certification in Elementary Education	B.A.E.	English as a Second Language (Provisional) Structured English Immersion	This program prepares undergraduate students for careers working with students in grades K-12 who have learning disabilities, mild mental retardation, or emotional/behavioral disorders. Students in the Special Education program gain an in-depth understanding of the various disabilities and learn strategies and techniques to support and teach individuals with special needs.
Special Education with Elementary Certification	M.Ed.	Structured English Immersion	The Special Education Master's with Arizona Certification (MAC) program leads to an Arizona K-12 special education certification and an Arizona 1-8 elementary certification. Coursework for the required Structured English Immersion endorsement is included.
Special Education with Elementary Certification - ASPIRE	M.Ed.	Structured English Immersion	The ASPIRE (Arizona Special Initiative to Recruit and Retain Educators) Special Education M.Ed. program leads to dual Arizona certification in K-12 special education and 1-8 elementary education. Coursework for the required Structured English Immersion endorsement is included.
