Doctoral Program - Leadership & Innovation Ed.D.

This three-year cohort program prepares educational researchers who are interested in working as educational leaders in K-12, higher education, or business environments. The program focuses on action research projects that begin in the first year of study and culminate with the dissertation.
Early Childhood Education B.A.E. Early Childhood (birth - grade 3)

The Early Childhood Education program prepares students for careers working with infants and children in grades K-3. Students gain an understanding of the educational needs and challenges facing early learners.
Educational Administration M.Ed. Principal (grades PreK-12)

This program is designed for practicing teachers who desire the knowledge and skills necessary to become effective leaders in PreK-12 schools. To obtain the Arizona principal certificate, candidates must show verification of three years' full-time teaching experience.
Educational Administration - High School Leadership M.Ed. Principal (grades PreK-12)

This program is designed for practicing teachers who desire the knowledge and skills necessary to become effective leaders in PreK-12 schools. To obtain the Arizona principal certificate, candidates must show verification of three years' full-time teaching experience.
Elementary Education B.A.E. Elementary (grades 1-8)

The Elementary Education program prepares students to design and implement instructional programs for children in grades 1-8. The program leads to eligibility for teaching certification within the state of Arizona.
Elementary Education - Reading M.Ed.

This Elementary Education program provides classroom applications of the latest theory, research, and best current practices for reading instruction. The program leads to a Master's of Education with the option of obtaining a Reading Endorsement.
Elementary Education - Technology M.Ed.

This Master's of Education program is for teachers who are interested in using technology to engage students in learning and for those who want to explore technology integration in the curriculum.
Secondary Education B.A.E. Secondary (grades 7-12)

Professional programs in Secondary Education prepare students to teach a variety of subjects in grades 7-12. In addition to education methods courses, students must complete 44 to 48 hours in a chosen subject area. These programs equip students with the in-depth knowledge and teaching strategies necessary to serve the educational needs and challenges of students at the secondary level.
Secondary Education - Initial Teacher Certification M.Ed. Secondary (grades 7-12)

The Secondary Education Master's with Arizona Certification (MAC) program leads to certification in grades 7-12. Programs are offered at all four ASU campuses.
Secondary Education - Technology M.Ed.

This Master of Education program is for teachers who are interested in using technology to engage students in learning and for those who want to explore technology integration in the curriculum.
Special Education with Dual Certification in Elementary Education B.A.E.
Cross-Categorical Special Education (grades K-12)
Elementary (grades 1-8)

This program prepares undergraduate students for careers working with students in grades K-12 who have learning disabilities, mild mental retardation, or emotional/behavioral disorders. Students in the Special Education program gain an in-depth understanding of the various disabilities and learn strategies and techniques to support and teach individuals with special needs.

The Special Education Master's with Arizona Certification (MAC) program leads to an Arizona K-12 special education certification and an Arizona 1-8 elementary certification. Coursework for the required Structured English Immersion endorsement is included.
